The Clare Black Chip is a dark grey limestone chip. It is quite dark when wet, and grey when dry. It is used mainly for ground cover and driveways. This chip is very angular and plain, but has a strong even colour. Best laid 4-5cm deep. It can be used for decorative purposes, as plant toppers or in flower beds to add contrast as well as suppressing weed growth. Perfect for driveways and paths.
