Returns Policy – M.D. O'Shea & Sons
At M.D. O’Shea & Sons, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
1. Change of Mind Returns
You may return unused and unopened stock items within 14 days of delivery, subject to the following terms:

All goods must be returned with a valid invoice as proof of purchase.

Goods will be inspected by M.D. O’Shea & Sons staff before credit is authorised.

Returned items must be in original packaging, in perfect and resalable condition.

A restocking charge of 20% applies to all stock item returns.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable delivery service, as we cannot guarantee receipt without proof of delivery.
Returns Not Accepted For:

Open packs or unwrapped goods such as doors, flooring, shower doors, showers, bathroom ware, and accessories
-
Slates, gypsum products, timber, and all bagged materials
-
"Special Order" or non-stock items
-
Unsaleable or damaged goods due to handling or packaging issues
M.D. O’Shea & Sons reserves the right to issue a Gift Card instead of a refund for non-faulty goods returned.
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, we’ll make it right.

Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Faulty items can be reported within 30 days of purchase.

We’ll arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund, including any return shipping costs.
To assist with processing, please provide:

Photos of the damage or fault

A brief description of the issue
3. How to Return an Item
To begin a return:

Email info@mdoshea.ie with your order number and reason for return.

Our team will provide return instructions and further assistance.

Once returned goods are received and inspected, we’ll process your refund or issue a Gift Card within 5–7 working days.
4. Refunds & Credit

Refunds are made to the original payment method unless a Gift Card is issued for non-faulty returns.

Refunds may take a few days to appear, depending on your payment provider.

Credit is subject to inspection and approval by M.D. O'Shea & Sons staff.
