Lower Baffle for Stanley Cara

The baffle (throat) plate is used to deflect the flames and heat generated in the firebox before exiting out into the flue. It guides heat towards the front of the stove and preventing flames from directly entering the flue - preventing excess heat loss by retaining more of the generated heat.
