The Madeira sets of furniture offer a chic, contemporary look, which in no way comprises their durability or comfort. These outdoor furniture sets are aluminium framed with a hard-wearing polyrattan covering in a beautiful cream shot through with grey. This modern look is complimented with dark blue cushions and grey, woodgrain effect, tinted glass table tops. The colour of these sets gives them a Mediterranean, (or even, Madeiran!), coastal, airy feel, which is very different from other furniture on the market.  We currently stock four sets in the Madeira range, the two seater bistro set, a four and six seater round set as well as a corner set.

The Madeira Bistro set is a beautiful addition to any small patio, balcony or conservatory. Its two chairs are remarkably comfortable, with their high backs and comfortably raised sides and armrests. The chairs are at a very comfortable height from the ground, at 45cm they are easy to sit in to and get up from – which is good to know, especially if sharing with anyone who might have some difficulties on occasion!

The Madeira four seater set is a larger version of the Bistro set. The table is a generous size, at 110cm diameter, and the chairs fit spaciously around it. The glass tabletops of these sets are easy to clean, look amazing and are the perfect match for the light coloured polyrattan.

The Madeira six seater set is the ideal set for dining out and entertaining. The six comfy chairs fit easily around the large round table, 135cm in diameter, which includes a generous ‘lazy Susan’, which, at 60cm accommodates plenty of condiments as well as a romantic candle or two!

The Madeira Corner casual set has the same coastal colouring as the round table sets, but features a super comfortable corner unit, which seats six comfortably. The two cushioned footstools included in the set will seat another two people. This set has a rectangular table, the height of which can be adjusted to that of a coffee table or dining table. This is very straightforward to do, and does not require any great strength or use of tools. The seating of the sofa is as comfortable as the individual chairs of the other sets – although it does invite you to lie down with a good book!

As with all our other outdoor furniture, we advise storing it indoors, or under one of the well-fitting furniture covers we stock. While the polyrattan does not attract dirt, we do warn against using any abrasive cleaning agents and should cleaning be necessary we recommend warm soapy water. The cushions, while they are showerproof, are not waterproof, and should be taken in if the set is to be left outside for any length of time. As mentioned above, these sets have an aluminium frame, making them light weight and rust resistant.
